6. Theme is easy to Change


You have different templates to work on. If unsure of the way the blog looks, you can easily change it in seconds. This allows new bloggers to have a feel of the different possibilities and choices in the designs or the theme.

All of your blogs can be accessed through one screen or dashboard. This allows for easy management of all your blogs.

These are some of the Disadvantages of using Blogger.com:

1. Limited Flexibility


As there are only a few designs and themes, most blogs look and feel the same. This means that it is not easy to differentiate yourself from the other bloggers and does not allow you shine in your own niche.

2. Domain Name is Long


As your blog is hosted by blogger, your domain name will also include their brand, such as: www.yourdomainname.blogspot.com instead of the ideal which is www.yourdomainname.com. Your possible customers will easily know that your blog is hosted in blogger for free. But you have option for custom domain.

3. Blog ownership remains with blogger


You do not own your blogger blog. It means that if blogger one day shuts down, it owns all your contents and everything else in your blog. Unless you have a back up somewhere else, you could lose the whole blog. If blogger decides they do not like your blog, they can close it down anytime.

If you are planning to create an income online, you may start using blogger to get familiar with how blogs work. Later on, you may venture into using the other platform that majority of the professional bloggers use. But in last we will say for startup Blogger is best option.
